The extension is currently in beta stage. Anyway, the most important features are implemented and the extension is fully usable! We encourage you to contact the FireGPG Team if you find a bug.

Download FireGPG !
FireGPG is only available for Firefox 3 on Windows, Linux and MacOS Intel platforms. Please read How to compile the IPC library if you want to use Firegpg on a different architecture.

Additional Notes:

FireGPG isn't a key manager. You must install the GnuPG software!

On GNU/Linux and Mac OS, it's GnuPG. You can install it with your favourite package manager (like Synaptic, YaST, Yum, etc.) or from its official website.

If you are using Microsoft Windows, you have to download WinPT and GPG, and install it at the default location.

If you already installed GnuPG on your system, but in an uncommon place, you may still manually set its location using the options dialog of the extension!

Source Code:

You can download the source code with Subversion:

svn co svn://svn.tuxfamily.org/svnroot/firegpg/firegpg

The source code is packaged as an archive too (but only with essential files) :http://getfiregpg.org/stable/firegpg-0.6.3.tar.gz  (Sign)

You can use The Tuxfamily's Websvn too.

The source code is documented, you can have look here : FireGPG's code's documentation

For people who make packages for linux, or simply if you need it, you can use the url http://getfiregpg.org/stable/firegpg-version.xpi (or tar.gz) to get a specific version.

Versions previous 0.6 are affected by security issues. DO NOT USE THEM IN A PRODUCTION ENVIRONEMENT !
